"The weather? Um. Sunny and hot. We don't get weather here, Jason. It got cloudy for a couple hours today and my mom got worried. I thought it was a nice break." -- "Mira esas nubes."
This is why NorCal is better: we actually get some variation in weather. Like in Monterey, every night like some late mother a layer of fog rolls in, blankets the night and tucks us in shroud. In the morning waking up to a new fleecy blanket over you, it's like a secret valentine from your parent, the warmth of a hug that is a memory of an embrace; the warm fuzzy feeling of being loved actually made real.
