Oh wow, I love this one. It's so well composed but looks casual, like an actual glance out the window. And the colors are...um...good. (It's too late at night to get the critical faculties running full tilt, sorry.)
Also made me consider the question in your sidebar about how much if anything we can know about you through your photos -- the mood I get from the photo by itself is anxious and insomniac, what with the high vantage point, the slight chaos of reflection in the mirror, and the reddish light outside at the left. And for some I would imagine the person looking out at that view to be alone, probably in part because of the fairly dark and indistinct interior.
But although your caption contradicts my first impression, I can pretty easily re-imagine the scene in the terms you describe, a quiet view from a kind of haven with someone you love. There is also something comforting about that slightly out-of-focus interior, at second glance.
So either there's a lot of very interesting subjectivity in this one, or I personally just tend to see every damn thing in overly bleak terms...probably the former (not that latter may not be true as well.)
